Macroscopic Description - Kathleen McBride
These CM2 chondrites have purplish black fusion crust on the surface. The interior is a black matrix with millimeter sized inclusions of various colors including white, crème, gray and black.
Thin Section Description (,2) - Tim McCoy, Cari Corrigan
The sections consists of a few small chondrules (up to 1 mm), mineral grains and CAIs set in a black matrix; sulfide and carbonate grains are present. Olivine compositions are Fa0-34, with a peak at Fa0-2, and orthopyroxene is Fs1. The matrix consists dominantly of an Fe-rich serpentine; chondrules are relatively unaltered.
