This sample has a pebbly brown/black fractured exterior with abundant inclusions visible. One patch of fusion crust is visible on the coarse grained surface. The rusty brown interior is crumbly and friable. It has a coarse grained texture and abundant metal is visible. |
The sections consist of an aggregate of large olivine and pyroxene grains up to 3.5 mm across. Individual olivine grains are rimmed by carbon-rich material containing traces of metal. Olivines have cores of Fa24, with rims reduced to Fa4. Pigeonite is Fs19Wo12. Subcalcic augite is Fs13Wo33. The meteorites are ureilites and are likely paired. |
