Black fractured fusion crust on 50% of the exterior surface with minor amounts of evaporites. Exposed surface is black with fractures. The interior is a black matrix with minor amounts of orange rust. | |

The section consists of a few small (up to 0.5 mm) chondrules, mineral grains and CAIs set in a black matrix. Rare metal and sulfide grains are present. Olivine compositions are Fa1-38. Aqueous alteration of the matrix is substantial, but the chondrules are only modestly altered. The meteorite is a CM2 chondrite. |
