Macroscopic Description - Cecilia Satterwhite
The exterior is 75% black fractured fusion crust with some gray matrix and evaporites visible. The interior is a gray matrix with some oxidation and tiny inclusions visible.
Thin Section Description (,2) - Cari Corrigan, Tim McCoy
The section consists of a few large (up to 2 mm), poorly-defined chondrules in a matrix of finer-grained silicates, sulfides and very abundant magnetite. The meteorite displays little weathering, but is extensively shock blackened. Silicates are homogeneous. Olivine is Fa31 and orthopyroxene is Fs23. The meteorite appears to be a CK5 chondrite.
