The meteorite’s exterior is a rusty brown fusion crust with orange rust and a fracture. The interior is a black matrix with areas of brown rust and metal. | |

The section exhibits numerous large, well-defined chondrules (up to 2 mm) in a black matrix of fine-grained silicates, metal and troilite. Weak shock effects are present. Polysynthetically twinned pyroxene is common. The meteorite is moderately weathered. Silicates are unequilibrated; olivines range in composition from Fa8-30, and pyroxene is Fs17. The meteorite is an L3 chondrite (estimated subtype 3.6). |
