The fusion crust is very dark brown to black and rough with rusty iridescent weathering spots. The exposed interior is rusty light gray with dark gray inclusions up to 2 mm in size. The interior has a light gray matrix with dark gray inclusions. There are areas of rusty orange/brown with metal. This sample is friable. |
The meteorite is an otherwise unexceptional H4 chondrite (Fa18, Fs16), however it contains a mm-sized spherical object that resembles a chondrule but contains ~30% sulfide. Such objects are unusual and worthy of note. |
